These were inspired by Mr. Philip Belmont, Post 1624, Department of New Hampshire's Vice Chair of Membership. Mr. Belmont created a similar item for the Department of New Hampshire, but was kind enough to allow the National Headquarters to modify his design and use it.
Mr. Belmont was kind enough to provide the following comment to the wristband's intention:
"Those bracelets represent ALL of the Catholic War Veterans who have served in the armed forces. They are a reminder of all the members of the Catholic Church who gave their lives in defense of this nation, no matter the era or conflict. Also, these bracelets represent the members of the CWV who are no longer with us, who have gone to their rest after a life of honorable service to God and country."
Please note: placement of script on the wristband may vary.
